Objectives

Preparation of independent evaluations in each country of operation, aimed at analyzing the results achieved, the impacts generated, the challenges that have emerged, and the best practices of projects funded by the World Food Programme.

Decentralized Evaluations focus on projects in the following sectors:

  • Food Assistance and Cash Transfers
  • Climate Resilience, opportunities and market access
  • Social protection
  • Nutrition, food Security and reducing vulnerability
  • Improving institutions
  • Integrated regional programs

Activities and roles performed

Coordination of a group of international experts
Development of the methodology and specific activities for conducting individual decentralized evaluations in various countries
Ensuring quality control and verifying that all deliverables meet the required standards
