Project objectives:
Performing Soil Biological Quality Index Analysis (QBS-ar) on soil samples and interpreting the results.
The QBS-ar soil biological quality assessment index is concerned with the functionality of micro-arthropod populations, which, used as bioindicators, are able to identify ongoing environmental changes and the level of biodiversity in the soils analyzed.
The QBS-ar index can be used in the assessment of the sustainability of agronomic practices, in the assessment of environmental impact, in the characterization of polluted sites or for the verification of remediation interventions.
