Timesis promotes and participates to initiatives which consider harmonic and compatible development as the commitment for the present and the best for the future. It gives special attention to specific areas and realities in Europe and third world countries.

Since 2001 Timesis, with other firms of ASTRALE European Consortium, is undertaking on account of the European Commission, the functions of External Monitoring Group for LIFE-Environment, LIFE-Nature (since 2005) and LIFE-Third Countries (since 2005) projects.

Timesis supports the principles of the Geneva Declaration of 18 June 1998 signed by countries belonging to the UN-International Labour Organization, and in particular "the norms concerning the protection of worker' rights, especially for those who live under high discomfort situations caused by either the absence of specific rules or by policies of maximum profit..." particularly "in those areas of the world where control is minimum or even absent".

Soil Science is the science which studies the soil; it investigates its origin, its physical-chemical-biological characteristics, its distribution and evolution.

Timesis working group is made of soil scientists, foresters, agronomists, geologists who considered Soil Sciences as one of the fundamental sciences for an in-depth knowledge of the land and a rational and balanced planning for the use of its resources.

Professionalism and internationally recognized product quality. In 1997, Timesis was the first Italian company to be certified to conform to the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality standard system, for the following services: "Technical consulting, design and development of studies in the field of soil sciences". Since 2006, Timesis extended its certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 for the following products or services: "Consultancy, design, studies and services in the field of soil science, agronomy, forestry and land sciences".
